Cowboys Named to All-Region Team

The Region II Baseball Team was announced and Connors State third baseman Tyler Wheeler, pitcher Kyle Wormington and designated hitter Matt Oberste were named to the first team. Wheeler was also a Gold Glove selection.

Second team selections for the Cowboys were outfielder Eric Baker and pitcher Jake Fisher.

Honorable mention selections were catcher Chris Tavares, infielder Cam’Ron Summers, outfielders Brodie Ross, Wes Newman and pitchers Joey Ellison and Dusten Knight.
