I

WARNER – Connors State College’s freshman outfielder Paige Boiling, has been named third team National Junior College Athletic Association All-American, it was announced Monday.

Boiling, who hit .420 with 11 home runs and collected 42 RBIs, was instrumental in leading the Cowgirls to a 37-35 record and the finals of the Region II championship game.

“Paige did an outstanding job for us all season and really took off during the playoffs,” said Cowgirls head coach Rick Carbone. “She is very deserving of this honor and is the 11th Cowgirl to be named All-American.

“We expect big things from her next year and will provide us some great leadership.”

Boiling was one of only two players named to the NJCAA All-American team from the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference. Boiling was also a first team All-OCAC first team selection.
