Cowgirls softball team on the road

The Cowgirls, who are 3-5 for the season, begins play Friday in the Murray State Softball Festival in Tishomingo. The Cowgirls open with Paris Junior College at 4 p.m. and will the Northeast Texas Community College at 6 p.m.

Saturday the Cowgirls tangle with Neosho Community College at noon, North Central Texas Community College at 4 p.m. and Fort Scott, Kan., Community College at 6 p.m.
