Cowgirls Win Two More in Region II Tournament
OKLAHOMA CITY – Connors Cowgirls rallied twice Saturday to advance to the championship round of the NJCAA Region II Softball Tournament at Hall of Fame Stadium.
The Cowgirls playing in the elimination bracket defeated Rose State 7-3 in nine innings and then knocked off Carl Albert Community College 6-5.
The Cowgirls will play Western State at 2 p.m. Sunday. Western State fell to Northeastern A&M. Northeastern A&M is undefeated in the tournament.
A Cowgirls win over Western would then advance them to play NEO at 4 p.m. followed by a 6 p.m. game if the Cowgirls defeat NEO.
The winner of the Region II Tournament advances to the Softball College World Series in St. George, Utah, May 19-21,
