Eastern Rallies Past Cowboys

Connors State Cowboys fell to Eastern State 15-5 in Wilburton on Sunday, is now 29-15 for the season and will play Bacone College at Biff Thompson Field at 7 p.m. Monday.

Joey Ellison (4-3) took the loss throwing two innings, giving up three hits while striking out two and six earned runs.

Tyler Wheeler led Connors hitting attack going 2-for-3 at the plate with one double and one run scored. Kameron Kopczynski had the big blow for the Cowboys when he blasted out a grand slam home run in the third, his seventh home run of the season.
