Cowboys Blast Rose State 12-1 in Oklahoma Collegiagte Athletic Conference play

MIDWEST CITY—Connors State rolled over Rose State in an Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference clash on the Raiders home field Thursday to improve 45-7 overall and 22-6 in the OCAC.

Cowboys broke a 1-1 tied in the third inning to route the host club by pounding out 19 base hits.

 Carson Johnson and Jake Northern had three base hits each with Northern collecting 2 runs-batted-in.

Luis Pelayo led the Cowboys hitting assault with four base hits including two RBIs.  Tony Hrynkin and Colton Burgess had two hits each with Burgess knocking in three runs and  Hrynkin one RBI.

Dian Luper had two hits, one RBI, including a home run.

Logan Gragg (5-0) was the pitcher of record, striking out seven in five innings with Ty Callahan throwing two innings in relief with two strikeouts.
