BETHANY, OKLA.—Connors State eclipsed the century mark for the fourth consecutive game, pounding host Southwestern Christian College Junior Varsity 105-70 Wednesday on the Mound builders home floor.
The 23rd ranked Cowboys remain unbeaten (5-0) and will conclude its four game road trip Thursday at Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
Connors had five players score in double-figures with Elijah Landrum, the Region II Player of the Week, leading the assault with 24 points. The sophomore drained four of the Cowboys five shots from behind the arc.
Terrance Jones followed Landrum in the scoring with 21 points. Tyrees Sidberry added another 18 points with Callen Haydon, who saw his first action of the season after recovering from a broken hand, scored 15 points along with Burke Putnam's 15 points.
Cowboys led from start to finish, held a 52-39 lead at the half.
