SEMINOLE---Turnovers, turnovers and more turnovers proved costly to the Connors State Cowgirls against the Seminole State Belles in an Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference clash at Ray Harbor Field House.

"I thought we had 20 or more, it sure looked like it," said a disappointed Cowgirls coach Jamie Fisher.

"We have got to regain our swagger. We have lost it. But the main thing is we have to protect the basketball," said Fisher.

The Cowgirls are now in danger of not reaching the Region II Tournament in March if the losing trend continues.

Caylin Livers led the Cowgirls scoring with 19 points all coming in the first half. De'Asia Reid added 10 in the loss.

It was Livers trey with one-second on the clock to give the Cowgirls the half time lead.

Connors finished with six three-pointers in the first two quarters of play.

The second half belong to the Belles building an 11-point advantage 65-54 with2:47 remaining.
