Eastern State Eliminates Cowboys from Region II Baseball Tournament with 26-13 Victory

The Cowboys conclude the 2018 season with a 49-9 record. Connors fell into the losers' bracket following a 9-8 loss to top seed Seminole earlier in the day Saturday. Eastern (44-16) and Seminole State (40-100 will battle for the Region II championship Sunday and the right to host the Southwest Regional next week.
Colton Burgess led the Cowboys hitting with three base hits including a home run, along with Andres Gonzalez, Luis Pelayo and Braden Callico.
