Connors State Cowboys Defeat National Park College On Multiple Hit Performance By Gallo
Jordan Gallo collected three hits in four at bats, as Connors State Cowboys defeated National Park College 10-0 on Monday. Gallo hit a home run to left field in the first inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the third inning. A home run to left field by Gallo on an 0-2 count put Connors State Cowboys on the board in the top of the first. Connors State Cowboys added one run in the second after Anderson Fenwick flew out. A single by Christian Suarez, and a double by Logan Hedrick helped Connors State Cowboys extend their early lead in the third. Jaxon Lee earned the win for Connors State Cowboys. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking four. Harrell opened the game for National Park College. The starting pitcher allowed 10 hits and seven runs (six earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Connors State Cowboys collected 13 hits in the game.
