Hasenclever's Strong Eye Leads Connors State Cowboys Past Eastern Oklahoma State College
Brooks Hasenclever showed a strong eye at the plate on Thursday, as Hasenclever walked three times while leading Connors State Cowboys to a 12-2 victory over Eastern Oklahoma State College. Connors State Cowboys were the first to get on the board in the first when Luke Beeler hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. A single by Jordan Gallo extended the Connors State Cowboys lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the second inning. Eastern Oklahoma State College scored one run in the top of the third on a solo home run to left field by Carey. Connors State Cowboys added one run in the third after Seojin Kim singled down the left field line. Connors State Cowboys added three more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning on three hits. Hasenclever hit a solo home run to right field, Beeler singled, scoring one run, and Keshav Tebeck hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Jayden Gould earned the win for Connors State Cowboys.
