WARNER — Connors State Cowboys' Darius Roy, sophomore from Lawton, Okla., was named the NJCAA Region II Player of the week, it was announced Tuesday for his play last week.
Roy led the Cowboys to two victories last week over Murray State and Western Oklahoma State, averaging 17.5 points an outing. He shot 77.7 percent on 3-point attempts and 75 percent on field goal attempts. He also averaged 7.0 assists per contest.
Roy is a transfer from Mercer University.
