BETHANY — Connors State closed out the first half of the season Thursday night with a 92-80 victory over Southwestern Christian Junior Varsity behind the double-figure scoring of Mason Jones, Ra'Shawn Langston and Terrance Jones.
Mason Jones led the Cowboys, now 13-2 on the year, with 25 points, followed by Lanston's 24 and Terrance Jones' 16 points in the win.
The Cowboys never trailed in the game holding a 12-point lead at the half 46-34.
Connors will resume play on Jan. 8th following the holiday break against Murray State in Tishomingo to open Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference action. The Cowboys are 1-1 in league action.
De'Joun Sanders led the Eagles scoring with 17 points followed by Daniel Jones' 14 and David Tavloe added 12 more. Richmarr Smith chipped in 11 points.
