Connors State Cowboys surpassed the century mark for the third consecutive game as seven players scored in double figures en route to a 130-54 victory over Mid-American College Junior Varsity Monday night.
OKLAHOMA CITY—Connors State Cowboys surpassed the century mark for the third consecutive game as seven players scored in double figures en route to a 130-54 victory over Mid-American College Junior Varsity Monday night.
The 23rd ranked Cowboys remain unbeaten (4-0) heading into a Wednesday night clash with Southwestern Christian JV in Bethany, Okla., at 7 p.m.
"I thought we played very well at times, but we still have some work on some things," said head coach Bill Muse. "It was good to have seven players scoring in double figures. It's good you don't have to depend on one or two players to do all your scoring."
Cowboys led from the opening tip-off and raced to a 58-26 lead at the half.
Marvin Lowe led the Cowboys assault with 20 points. Lowe was followed by Jordan Graham's 19, with Isaiah Jones scoring another 18 points.
Terrance Jones, Elijah Landrum and Tyrees Sidberry scored 17 points each and Burke Putnam adding 12 more.
