Connors State Cowboys closed out the first half of the season with a 122-59 hammering of Mid American College Junior Varsity Thursday night on the Eagles home floor.
OKLAHOMA CITY—Connors State Cowboys closed out the first half of the season with a 122-59 hammering of Mid American College Junior Varsity Thursday night on the Eagles home floor.
The 25th-ranked Cowboys will return to action on January 7th on the road in Wilburton against Eastern Oklahoma State College in an Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference clash. Connors will then open at home for the second semester on January 10 against Redlands Community College in OCAC play.
The Cowboys had little trouble with the Eagles cruising to a 65-21 lead at the half
Connors had six players score in double figures led by Elijah Landrum's 21 points. He was followed by Marvin Lowe's 20, Daylon Tanksley's 18, Terrance Jones' 13, Isaiah Jones' 12 and Burke Putnam's 11 points.
