Cowboys Jordan Tillmon Signs with Florida A&M

Jordan Tillmon has signed to play basketball for Florida A&M Rattlers, it was officially announced today by Connors State's men's basketball head coach Bill Muse and FAMU head coach Robert McCullum.

"Excited to have Jordan join our Rattler Family," McCullum said. "Jordan brings a great amount of maturity, toughness and a great competitive spirit to our team. He knows what it takes to win at a high level. In addition, Jordan adds a great ability to score and make plays for his teammates. He has all of the winning qualities we covet for our team."
 
Tillmon helped lead the Cowboys to a 28-6 record and an appearance in the Opening Round of the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament after earning the No. 21 national seed in the event.
 
The 6-foot-2 point guard from Pine Bluff, Arkansas started all 34 games, directing an offense that put up 86.2 points-per-game on the season. He averaged 16.6 points, 5.3 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game, shooting 45.3 percent from the floor, 37.1 percent from three-point range and 70.1 percent from the free throw line.
 
He posted season and career highs of 32 points on the road at Seminole State, collected as many as 10 rebounds in a game and handed out as many as 12 assists – including 9 or more on four occasions while also finishing the campaign with over twice as many assists (180) as turnovers.
