Cowboys Hold off Late Seminole Run to Remain in 1st Place in OCAC
Connors State rode second-half charges to a road win at Seminole State on Monday Night inside Raymond Harber Fieldhouse. The Cowboys up 2 at the half, had to hold off a furious Seminole comeback in the final 10 minutes to came away with a 81-76 win on Monday in Seminole.

Seminole, OK- Connors State rode second-half charges to a road win at Seminole State on Monday Night inside Raymond Harber Fieldhouse. The Cowboys up 2 at the half, had to hold off a furious Seminole comeback in the final 10 minutes to came away with a 81-76 win on Monday in Seminole.
The Cowboys (22-2, 9-1 OCAC) lead a majority of the game and increased there lead to 9 points coming out of the Halftime Break, but only to see Seminole answer right back and tie the game and then eventually take the lead with about 7 Minutes remaining. From the 7 minute mark on the Cowboys and Trojans went back and forth until the cowboys took the lead for good on a Buddy Hammer Jr Dunk with just under 1 minute remaining in regulation. Connors would put the game away with two defensive stops and at the Foul Line for a crucial OCAC Road victory to remain in a 1st place tie.
