Hubbard Signs with Abilene Christian

Hubbard is a 6-foot-6-inch, 225-pound dominating forward from Tulsa, OK,, ranked as the No. 34 junior college player in the country per JucoRecruiting.com,
During Hubbard's two seasons at Connors he accumulated 1,390 career points, forth most in school history.

Hubbard led the Cowboys this past season to a 34-3 overall record, including a OCAC Regular Season Championship, Region II championship and a Final Four appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament before falling 87-84 to eventual runner-up Triton, Illinois.
For the season, he averaged 24.9 points per game while shooting 55 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range. He also averaged 10.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
He ended up totaling 921 points during his sophomore year which ranked as number one in the country. He posted 31 games of 20+ points, including a career-high 35 points in three consecutive games of the season against Dallas College- Eastfield, South Arkansas Community College, and University of Arkansas- Cossatot.
During the NJCAA Tournament, he averaged 22.5 points over the course of four games in route to being named to the All-Tournament Team. He also earned OCAC All-Conference honors and was named Region 2 Player of the Year, Region 2 Tournament MVP, First Team All-Region 2 and a First Team NJCAA All-American.
As a freshman at Connors State College, Hubbard averaged 15.6 points per game while shooting 51.3 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from deep. He posted 23 double-digit scoring games, including three 25+ scoring performances. He was a Second Team All-Region Selection as a Freshman.
