Daniel Signs With La Salle

Warner, OK- Connors State's Head Men's Basketball Coach Bill Muse and La Salle Head Coach Darris Nichols announced on Friday the signing of Cowboys' forward Edwin Daniel to a National Letter of Intent.
Daniel is a 6-foot-9-inch, 215-pound dominating forward from Bronx, NY.
"We are excited to welcome Edwin to the La Salle Family," Tanner said. "Edwin is a high energy, dominating forward who imposes his will on both ends of the floor. He has competed at a tradition-rich junior college program at Connors State under Coach Bill Muse. Edwin will bring quality experience to our program, and is driven to become the best version of himself at La Salle and we are excited to help him."
Daniel led the Cowboys this past season to a 32-4 overall record, including Back to Back OCAC Regular Season Championship, Back to Back Region II Championship and a National Finalist appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament before falling 69-61 in the Finals to Trinity Valley Community College, Texas.
For the season, he averaged 12.7 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field. He also averaged 12.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
During the NJCAA Tournament, he averaged 15.2 points over the course of five games in route to being named to the All-Tournament Team. He also earned OCAC All-Conference honors and was named Region 2 Tournament MVP, First Team All-Region 2 and a Third Team NJCAA All-American.
