Cowboys Release 2025-2026 Signing Class
Connors State College added one transfer and signed four prep standouts announced head coach Bill Muse Monday morning. The current class includes Marcus Britt Jr (6-4, G, Forrest City High School), CJ Lee (6-2, G, Mendocino College), Ace Clemons (6-8, F, South Central Prep), DaShawn Ransome (6-6, F, Oklahoma City Douglas High School), and Peter DaCruz (6-9, F, The Knox School)
Warner, Oklahoma – Connors State College added one transfer and signed four prep standouts announced head coach Bill Muse Monday morning. The current class includes Marcus Britt Jr (6-4, G, Forrest City High School), CJ Lee (6-2, G, Mendocino College), Ace Clemons (6-8, F, South Central Prep), DaShawn Ransome (6-6, F, Oklahoma City Douglas High School), and Peter DaCruz (6-9, F, The Knox School)
The Cowboys' incoming class brings balance, experience, and a wide array of skills which include Two guards (Britt Jr, and Lee), along with three forwards (Clemons, Ransome, and DaCruz). The newest signees compliment a Cowboy roster that has six letter winners off last year's NJCAA National Tournament National Finalist Team that made serious noise in Hutchinson, Kansas knocking off the #16, #1, #8, and #4 National Seeds on its way to the schools second national championship game appearance in school history.
"We are very excited about this signing class," said Muse. "these six players will arrive in Warner with experience, and have all proven to be winners both on the basketball court and off the basketball court. This is a talented group we have added to the roster to accompany the six letter winners off last year's National Finalist Team."
Britt Jr scored over 1,000 career points in his High School career at Forrest City High School playing for his Father Marcus Britt who was a Standout Player at the University of Arkansas. A highly touted prospect coming out of high school. Britt Jr was an all-state selection who received Arkansas Class 4A-6 All-Conference honors during his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Seasons. Britt Jr was named to the Arkansas Basketball Coaches Association Top 5 Team his senior season. He helped lead Forrest City High School to multiple Conference Championships and Regional Championships.
Clemons comes to CSC after spending a Prep semester at South Central Prep. Clemons arrived on campus during the spring semester of the 2024-2025 season. One of the top players in the Prep Circuit during his high school and prep school career. Clemons spent his high school senior season at Broken Arrow High School where he helped lead the Tigers to the OSSAA Class 6A State Tournament Semifinals. Clemons spent the fall semester at South Central Prep where he was a dominating inside force for the Aces during the fall semester helping the team to some crucial Prep School Victories.
CJ Lee played in 24 games earning 15 starts in his lone season with the Eagles of Mendocino College. He scored 341 points and averaged 14.2 points per game on the year while shooting 39 percent from the field as a freshman. Lee helped lead Mendocino College to the Northern California Regional this past season. He was an instrumental part in Mendocino Colleges' Season. Lee spent his entire prep career at Northwest High School in Maryland. Lee spent his true freshman season at Paris Junior college where he redshirted before transferring to Mendocino for his Redshirt Freshman Year.
Ransome comes to CSC after an all-conference season at Oklahoma City Douglass High School. One of the top players in the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Athletic Association 4A Conference, Ransome averaged 15 plus points per game for the Trojans in an OSSAA Class 4A State Semifinal Appearance. Ransome helped lead Oklahoma City Douglass High School to the 2024 OSSAA Class 4A State Championship. Ransome was a vital part of the Trojans success throughout his high school career in helping the Trojans to three consecutive OSSAA Class 4A State Tournaments.
Peter DaCruz arrives in Warner after an outstanding Prep School Career at Long Branch High School in New Jersey. Da Cruz spent a prep school season at The Knox School in St. James, New York. During his prep year he averaged 16.2 Points and pulled down almost 9 rebounds a game. DaCruz helped lead the Knox School to several major victories on the prep school Circuit this past season. Da Cruz will being his winning attribute to warner after helped lead Long Branch and the Knox school to several tournament championships and prep school titles.
