Soccer Gets New Shed
WARNER - Exactly 4 months after a tornado-warned storm destroyed the equipment shed at the Connors State soccer program's practice field, the teams have a new shed thanks to the generosity of Dr. Ramming.
On September 21, 2025, while the teams were playing away games at Eastern Oklahoma State College, a tornado-warned storm impacted the Warner campus, knocking down tree branches and causing some damage to the rest of campus. Some of the worst damage included the team shed, which was moved 20 yards and flipped upside down, with several holes being ripped in the sides of the building.
The new shed, delivered earlier today, was purchased for the team by Dr. Ramming and built and delivered by Davis Buildings in Stigler. The new shed is larger and includes built-in shelving and a loft at the front of the building, allowing for more usable space to store equipment in between training sessions.
"I am very grateful that Dr. Ramming believes in our program and continues to invest in the growth of the soccer programs at Connors State College," said Head Coach Adam Skolnick. "I am also grateful that Davis Buildings was able to deliver the storage shed in a timely manner ahead of forecasted winter storms. It will be a tremendous asset to our training this semester by allowing us to keep our equipment organized and easily accessible."
