12 Players, Women's Soccer Team Earn NJCAA Academic Honors
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Connors State College women's soccer team had 12 student-athletes named to NJCAA All-Academic Teams for the 2024-2025 academic year and was named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year, the NJCAA national office announced this morning.
The 12 women's soccer student-athletes named to the All-Academic teams is a 200 percent increase from the 2023-2024 academic year. Two sophomores earned their second All-Academic Team recognition, while three sophomores and seven freshmen earned All-Academic Team honors for the first time. The team also saw an increase in First-Team honorees, with three earning that distinction compared to one last year.
Student-athletes earn NJCAA All-Academic Team recognition by maintaining at least a 3.60 GPA during the academic year. Student-athletes who finish with a 4.0 cumulative GPA earn first-team honors, second-team honors for a cumulative GPA between 3.80 and 3.99, and third-team honors for a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.

Additionally, the team earned NJCAA Academic Team of the Year honors for the second consecutive year, posting a program-high GPA of 3.49.
