Cowboys Get Road Win against the Trojans

Connors State rode second-half charges to a road win at Seminole State on Saturday Afternoon inside Raymond Harber Fieldhouse. The Cowboys down 1 at the half, had to hold off a midway through the second half Seminole comeback to came away with a 67-57 win on Saturday in Seminole.

Seminole, OK- Connors State rode second-half charges to a road win at Seminole State on Saturday Afternoon inside Raymond Harber Fieldhouse. The Cowboys down 1 at the half, had to hold off a midway through the second half Seminole comeback to came away with a 67-57 win on Saturday in Seminole.

The Cowboys (13-2, 2-1 OCAC) lead a majority of the game and took the lead for good to begin the second half. The lead went to 9 points coming out of the Halftime Break. From the 7 minute mark on the Cowboys and Trojans went back and forth. the closest Seminole would come is two. Connors would put the game away with defensive stops and at the Foul Line for a crucial OCAC Road victory.

Edwin Daniel led two Cowboys in double figures with 23 points. DJ Dormu had 17. Kevin Stubblefield Jr had 9 points. Dashaun Spence had 8. While Aric Walls added 6 Points off the Bench in the victory. Jermiah Johnson rounded out the scoring for the Cowboys with 4 points on the afternoon
 
The Cowboys shot 38 percent from the field, and 18 percent from the Three Point Range.
 
The Cowboys shot 23-33 from the Free Throw Line going 70 percent for the game.
 
The Cowboys are once again on the Road Monday Night to take on Northern Oklahoma College- Tonkawa. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
