Khamani Cooper is a 6'4 Guard from Pine Bluff, Arkansas (Watson Chapel High School) where he averaged 29 points per game, 7 Rebounds, and 5 Assists.

At Watson Chapel High School, Cooper helped lead the Wildcats to the Arkansas Class 4A-8 Conference Championship during his senior season. Cooper was the Sheridan Tournament MVP. Cooper was also sected to the 2023 Arkansas Activities Coaches Association All State Games. During Coopers Senior year he eclipsed the 1,000 career point plateau and was the 1st player in Wildcats history to reach that milestone.

Cowboys Open NJCAA National Tournament with Win over Moberly Area

Connors State went on a first half tear and made it look it relatively easy as they posted an 86-77 win over Moberly (Mo) Area Community College in the opening round of the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship tournament Monday in Hutchinson, Kansas.

The Cowboys had another nail-biter with NEO, but this time for a Region 2 Championship on the line. The two teams split games during the regular season with the Norse winning at home on a last second 3-point shot and the Cowboys winning an overtime battle in Warner. Saturday Connors led the entire game but still had to hang on at the end for a 73-71 victory.

Connors State Sophomore Bradyn Hubbard from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sophomore Donyae May from Russellville, Arkansas, Buddy Hammer Jr from Westville, OK, Freshman Khamani Cooper from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Head Coach Bill Muse have been named to the Region 2, Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference All Region Team, All Freshman Team, and COAC Coach of the Year it was announced by a vote of the coaches on Friday Afternoon.
